How we work

01 Brief

We work closely with you to establish your vision for the project. Your dedicated account manager will take a brief from you to find out exactly what you need to achieve.

02 Concepts

Our in-house design team will bring your brief to life, visualising your user interface – how it will look, your tone of voice and imagery. If required we’ll also develop wire frames for your site. A mobile first agency, we always approach our design and planning from a mobile perspective first.

03 Design

Once we’ve completed the concept stage, we begin designing your website. We’ll explore how the design of your site meets your business objectives – whether you need a brochure or e-commerce site. Our sites don’t just look beautiful; they also help grow our clients’ businesses.

04 Delivery

Once our final designs are signed off, our experienced in-house development team will bring your site to life with bespoke hand coding.

Top Web Design Agency FAQs

How much do you charge for UI & UX web design?

Whatever size or functionality you need from your website, we can help. We can help with the UI and UX design, copy, build and photography to ensure your completed website delivers the results you need.

We charge a daily rate for our professional services and a competitive quotation can be provided once we’ve met you and discussed your detailed brief.

How long will my website design take?

Typically our UI & UX design projects take between six to eight weeks to complete. The time involved depends on the functionality and detail of your design, and whether you supply the content or you need us to create it for you. When we have a detailed specification we can provide you with more accurate timescales.

What's your website design process?

You’ll be invited to meet your account manager, who will take a detailed brief from you. We’ll ask you for information including:

  • Your brand guidelines (if you have them)
  • Functionality requirements
  • Design likes and dislikes
  • Your products or services
  • Competitor websites
  • Your target market
  • Technical information, such as hosting details

Your art director will then carry out detailed research to understand your target market, get to grips with your product and/or services, evaluate your competitors and market leaders, and understand where you fit in the market. They will also look at trends, colours, styles and fonts.

They’ll use this research to develop initial design concepts and wireframe that will set out the structure and functionality of your website. You’ll be invited to review this by your account manager. Based on your response we’ll make improvements to ensure that we hit the brief perfectly.

Your art director will then proceed with the design visuals and again, you’ll be invited to review these and we will refine them further.

Once you’re happy with the design and functionality of your website we begin to code it. On completion, we test it across all devices to ensure it’s performing as it should.

What are clients typically required to supply?

We’ll take a detailed brief from you which will require information such as:

  • Your brand guidelines (if you have them)
  • Functionality requirements
  • Design likes and dislikes
  • Your products or services
  • Competitor websites
  • Your target market
  • Technical information, such as hosting details

If you are supplying your own images and copy we will need those too.

Do you create wireframes before designing websites?

Wireframes detail the functionality of your website and ensure we have a grip and focus on the customer journey and achieving your objectives. We don’t always create them; it depends on the size and budget of the project.
