After being impressed we were selected out of ten agencies after successfully delivering and providing a front-end solution to launch, display and archive Open Banking’s new API documentation. The selection meant we would be providing a fast-turnaround website solution for their financial services.

Our aim was to create a website that would be aesthetically modern with a clean cut design while also having that secure feel to appeal to customers and developers. We consulted with the client on a number of technical, security and compliance issues that we were able to easily accommodate throughout site construction.

Building on our original work, we designed a scalable, highly secure and easy-to-manage WordPress website that would heavily appeal to customers. Its clear and uncluttered layout is also a good fit for the financial services market, where clarity and transparency are key considerations.

Going the extra mile

Its successful roll-out has resulted in a 20-hour retainer with Tann Westlake per month for site updates, plus a weekly conference call to keep abreast of any issues or developments that affect our service delivery.

Know your users

Having delivered a successful website design and build service for Open Banking, we were then asked to monitor their users’ behaviour on the site and compare site visitors to actual conversions. This would help Open Banking understand their ROI and manage their pages in an effective way.

Learning from data

Analytics code was applied across all areas of the site to track users and assess their behaviour patterns. We filtered out the company’s internal IP address as well as our own to increase data accuracy. Through analytics, we are able to track the customer/user journey and monitor the performance of pages as well as conversions. This would help the client in the future learn more about how the user uses their website and what works well or needs improved.
