String Infusion are a newly formed string quartet group based in Manchester. They describe themselves as a group of vibrant young musicians with big plans.
Currently they provide solo and session services and perform at private and corporate events on both small and large scale. Individually they’ve worked with some well known artists including Rita Ora on a recent X-Factor performance, performances at the O2 and impressively at the BBC Philharmonic.
As a young and current act they needed a brand and social media assets to portray their image and help them attract the right attention for large scale events. They liked the look and image of Little Mix, Dixie Chicks and Escala. That is professional and corporate yet fun, current and sassy.
After taking the initial brief our design team carried out detailed research into the current industry. This involved looking at colour ways, imagery, graphics, typography etc. Our findings were collated in a mood board and presented to String Infusion to check that we were on the right track.
A total of 6 concepts were developed, 2 of which were chosen as favourites and developed further, applying different colourways, adjusting alignments and tweaking the typographic elements that so strongly dominate this logo.
The logo was then applied to popular merchandise and social media assets to give it context and a clear perspective on how it could look.
